Megan McCorkle completed her master's in Clinical Research Management after an internship at Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research. She defended her thesis practicum, The Effect of Vestibular Rehabilitation on Recovery Outcomes in Adolescents with Sport Related Concussion, on March 23, 2023. She completed this project in partnership with the Baylor Scott & White Sports Concussion Program, which included time spent observing the in-house vestibular physical therapist. Outside of her thesis project, Megan was involved in various studies investigating therapist burden in different gait training modalities, overground robotic exoskeletons in inpatient neurorehabilitation, and the return to play protocol after sport related concussion. Megan is a current student in Emory University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program and has plans to graduate with a dual DPT/Ph.D. in Applied Physiology.
