Dr. Rhodora Fontillas is a Senior Physical Therapist in the Department of Rehabilitation Services at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (UT MDACC). She is a board certified clinical specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association. She obtained her physical therapy education as well as clinical experience from the U.S. and internationally. Her clinical and research interests include: frailty in patients with cancer, exercise testing and prescription in oncology practice, barriers and facilitators to exercise, prehabilitation for patients with cancer who are preparing for surgery or stem cell transplantation, and rehabilitation in patients with brain tumors. As a Lead Physical Therapist for Prehabilitation with a profound interest in wellness and prevention, Dr. Fontillas proves to be a strong advocate for Exercise is Medicine.
