Dr. Ng is an Associate Professor of Palliative, Rehabilitation, and Integrative Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Ng has maintained a lifelong interest in the relationship between exercise, nutrition, and health. Her research focuses on the impact of lifestyle interventions and physical activity on disease prevention and treatment. She has a special interest in developing better treatment plans for cancer-related malnutrition, venous thromboembolism, and spinal cord injuries. Since joining the MD Anderson faculty, Dr. Ng has worked to help patients with cancer use exercise to restore physical functioning, improve quality of life, and prevent cancer recurrence.
