Dr. Kelly Krese completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Illinois-Chicago and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy in 2020. She worked as a Senior Therapist at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab before transitioning to a research role. Her expertise is in the area of traumatic brain injury but she has extensive experience working with people with a multitude of neurological diagnoses including spinal cord injury and stroke. She now serves as co-investigator and research coordinator for studies on neuromodulation for people after mild to severe traumatic brain injuries. She is an expert consultant for the Specialty Rehab Hospital of United Arab Emirates. She is an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a Certified Yoga Teacher.
