Abby is a Health Sciences student at Western University and is enrolled in the Rehabilitation Sciences Practicum course affiliated with Parkwood Institute in London, Ontario. Involvement with this practicum course has allowed Abby to assist in the creation of a resource hub designed to facilitate donations and improve access to assistive devices for individuals in the community. Participation in this experiential learning model has fostered the continual growth of new skills and a better understanding of the importance of implementing clinically-informed research that will guide Abby in her future career pursuits.
