Dr. Urszula Klich is a clinical psychologist, author, and speaker with 25 years of experience teaching self-regulation for optimal health with her unique program of Mindfulness-Based Biofeedback. She is board-certified in biofeedback and is the president of the Southeast Biofeedback and Clinical Neuroscience Association. She is a certified meditation teacher in Cognitively-Based Compassion Training (CBCT®) through Emory University and has served in prominent roles on various medical teams in pain institutes and hospitals. She she has helped countless people with complex medical conditions, catastrophic injuries neurologic, musculo-skeletal and degenerative diseases, such as spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and complex regional pain disorder. Her focus is on restoring function and improving quality of life.
Her teaching is based on the premise that integrating evidence-based self-regulation practices, such as biofeedback, mindfulness and compassion-informed treatment, with traditional medicine fosters individuals’ healing power to improve physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. During the COVID health crisis, she has been honored to consult with programs on burnout, empathy fatigue, and developing compassion resilience. Dr. Klich views living mindfully and performing optimally as accessible to anyone who recognizes a need for a shift in their life and sets an intention to move forward. She welcomes you to explore and practice mindfulness and compassion strategies that she has witnessed as having the power to transform and alleviate what is often decades of pain.
