Stacy Stolzman, a pediatric physical therapist, is dedicated to teaching the next generation of physical therapy professionals through graduate coursework focused on how a PT addresses promotion of normal physiology and rehabilitation of pathophysiology across the lifespan. In addition, she engages students in simulation learning within cardiopulmonary and acute care physical therapy using evidence-based practice.Her research focuses on pediatric obesity, metabolic syndrome, physical fitness, body composition and the ability of exercise to decrease clinical pain. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and serves on the Research Committee of the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy and APTA Wisconsin Pain SIG. At CUW, she serves on the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the Concordia Intramural Research Grant (CIRG) Committee.
