Ashlie White is the Chief Programs Officer for the Amputee Coalition. Prior to joining the Coalition, she served as the Director of Health Policy and Strategic Alliances for the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association. She started her career in health advocacy work on the operations side of her family-owned orthotics and prosthetics patient-care practice. During her time at Beacon P&O, she served in various volunteer roles including eight years as Director of Government Affairs for the North Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics Trade Association (NCOPTA) and four years on the board of Directors for the National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP). Ms. White is currently attending NYU Law's Health Law and Strategy Program and recently completed the Public Health Leadership graduate program at UNC’s Gillings School of Global Public Health. She holds a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
