Laura Excell earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. Prior to working towards the PhD, she was awarded a Doctorate in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Colorado. She received advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Western herbology. Laura is invested in reducing physical and mental health disparities for marginalized communities through her work as a nurse practitioner, nurse herbalist, and psychotherapist in private practice. When she is not working, Laura can be found in one of her gardens.
