Celeste graduated from the University Nebraska Medicine Center with a clinical doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. She has practiced at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals since 2015 as an inpatient physical therapist in numerous settings included skilled nursing, long term acute care and acute rehab. In 2017, she became Madonna’s inpatient and outpatient Cancer Program Manager and led the efforts to obtain Madonna’s CARF accredited cancer specialty program. Celeste has been a member of American Congress of Rehab Medicine (ACRM) and ACRM’s Cancer Rehab Networking Group (CRNG) since 2017, joining the CRNG Educational Task force in 2018 and presenting yearly since. She assists in hands on education and training of new clinical staff and students in various rehab disciplines regarding safe patient handling/positioning and cancer rehabilitation. Celeste is passionate about education and care of patients, families, and caregivers in the unique aspect of the cancer survivor.
