Dr. Christensen Holz is an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She is the founder of the cancer rehabilitation and pain management program at her institution and is responsible for residency education related to cancer rehabilitation. She developed the cancer rehabilitation didactic lecture series and clinical training for residents and has provided lectures on cancer rehabilitation to Doctor of physical therapy students. She has a special interest in cancer rehabilitation education and training and has been the co-chair of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine Education Task Force for several years. She has presented numerous symposia on various cancer rehabilitation topics at the annual American Congress of Rehabilitation Meeting and American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Annual Assembly. She also specializes in pain management in patients with a diagnosis of cancer.
