Sheryl Levin, MD (she/her/hers)

Sheryl Levin is an attending physician in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, and the Clinical Director for Rehabilitation Consultation and Post Acute Care. In addition to direct patient care and rehabilitation management, she works closely with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, the Montefiore Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and Montefiore Home Care to ensure appropriate patient transitions, closely collaborating with providers, case management, physical, occupational, and speech therapy. She has over 30 years experience as a Board-Certified Physiatrist and has been closely associated with Montefiore Medical Center since 1989, joining the full-time faculty in her current role in 2016.
Dr Levin has a BA from Barnard College and received her MD from Cornell University Medical College. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St Luke's Hospital, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Hospital/Cornell University Medical Center. Additionally, she has completed the Montefiore-Einstein Certificate program in Bioethics and Medical Humanities and the Montefiore Performance Improvement Fellowship.
