As a physical therapy researcher, the goal of my research is to promote optimal motor recovery after stroke using evidence-based theory-driven approaches.
Our group uses clinical, behavioral and neurophysiological tools to examine how non-motor factors such as attention and fatigue contribute to post-stroke motor performance. Our goal is gain in-depth understanding of the underly mechanisms promoting or hindering motor recovery in order to develop targeted interventions.
