Jereme D. Wilroy, PhD

Jereme Wilroy received doctoral degree from the University of Alabama Department of Health Sciences 2016. Dr. Wilroy completed a postdoc with Lakeshore Foundation and t as a Craig Neilsen Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow. Dr. Wilroy is Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a research focus on designing, implementing, and evaluating home-based physical activity interventions, using telehealth technology and adaptive intervention designs as well as addressing psychosocial factors of adherence. Dr. Wilroy is the Director of Research at Lakeshore Foundation and Co-director of the UAB Spinal Cord Injury Model Systems. He also has a secondary appointment in the School of Public Health at UAB where he is the Co-director for the Disability Health Studies Graduate Certificate.
