Veronica Swanson received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Irvine in the Biorobotics Lab at the University of California at Irvine led by Professor David Reinkensmeyer. After earning her BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering she worked as a research and development engineer focusing on 3D printing and mechanical design. Her dissertation studied aspects of uptake and usability for rehabilitation technologies with a focus on measuring uptake through records of use generated by the technologies of interest.
