Sarah Tlustos-Carter, Ph.D. is a pediatric rehabilitation neuropsychologist at Children’s Hospital Colorado and Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She conducts neuropsychological monitoring, assessment, and intervention on the inpatient rehabilitation unit as well as in the rehabilitation outpatient clinics. Her primary interests and passions include supporting children through both the acute and chronic phases of recovery from an acquired brain injury or illness by understanding how their medical and neurocognitive status, and disability identity, impacts their social-emotional functioning, behavior and the ability to participate in typical daily activities.
