Stephanie Smalling is an inpatient physical therapist currently serving on the inpatient rehabilitation team at Children's Hospital Colorado. Prior to working at Children's Hospital Colorado, she worked in Early Intervention and adult acute care physical therapy in St. Louis, Missouri. Stephanie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with her Bachelors in Kinesiology, and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. She has a specialty focus of neurological diagnoses at Children's Hospital Colorado, with high interest in Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis and other Peripheral Nervous System Disoders, Posterior Fossa Syndrome, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, Vestibular Disorders, and Functional Neurological Disorder. Additionally, she is active in research, with an interest in investigating the Vestibular impact on Central Nervous System disorders that relate to the pediatric population. In her free time she enjoys volunteering with the adapted ski program at the National Sports Center for the Disabled, hiking with her dog, skiing, reading, and baking.
