Sujin Lee, MD completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Fellowship at University of California, Irvine, and Polytrauma Clinical Research Fellowship at Tibor Rubin Veterans Affair Medical Center in Long Beach, California. She is double board-certified in PM&R and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. She is also a certified life coach.
Dr. Lee joined MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital as a staff physician in 2015, and was appointed as an assistant clinical professor and an assistant program director at UC Irvine, Department of PM&R in 2018. She has been heavily involved in teaching, mentoring and coaching medical students, residents and early-mid career attendings. As a certified coach, her focus of coaching is to support trainees and early-mid career physicians to prevent and mitigate burnout, improve work-life balance, and increase career fulfillment through career development.
