Rebecca (Becca) Lassell PhD., OTR/L is a postdoctoral associate in behavioral interventions and embedded pragmatic clinical trials at New York University, Rory Meyers College of Nursing. Her research interests include meaningful participation, nonpharmacological interventions, nature-based approaches, palliative care, hospice, and health disparities. Her work addresses issues of access, participation, and inclusion. Dr. Lassell is currently a Clin-STAR pilot awardee funded by the American Federation on Aging Research to co-design and pilot a green activity prescription program for people living with memory loss from Hispanic/Latino groups in the Bronx (A23-0142-001). She currently co-chairs Clin-STAR’s Exercise and Lifestyle Medicine Special Interest Group and seeks to advance transdisciplinary collaborations in aging research.
