Tom Van Vleet, PhD (he/him/his)

Dr. Van Vleet is a cognitive neuroscientist and clinical neuropsychologist with expertise in the neurocognitive aspects of attention, learning, perception and emotion regulation. Dr. Van Vleet is the Director of Sponsored Research and Senior Scientist at Posit Science - a software based cognitive remediation and neurotherapeutics company based in San Francisco. Dr. Van Vleet is the Principal Investigator and primary recipient of fourteen NIH research awards, as well as two VA research awards and two DARPA-funded clinical trials (SUBNETS, TNT) in which he served as co-Investigator and site-Principal investigator. Collectively, his research has resulted in the successful translation of novel advances in neuroscience to clinical applications (four patents awarded) and is currently working with the FDA for medical device clearance for several related interventions.
