Dr. Teare-Ketter received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercer University in 2019 and completed a Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency through the Shepherd Center and Mercer University in 2020. He became an APTA board certified Neurologic Specialist in 2021. He has participated in advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation and cervical spine management and has presented on advanced concussion management through the Neurologic Special Interest Group with APTA GA. He also presents on concussion management for DPT and athletic training programs around the Southeast. He has published research on the management of post-concussion syndrome as well as the standardization of skilled physical therapy in return-to-play protocols from sport-related concussion within collegiate athletic programs. He currently serves as the Concussion Clinic Program Lead at Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, Georgia, where he implemented a return-to-play protocol and concussion rehabilitation program which serves three collegiate athletic programs, 15 high schools, and a level II trauma hospital. He is a member of Atrium Health's Concussion Team, which serves to standardize evidence-based care and promote clinical excellence in the care of patients post-concussion throughout Atrium Health's enterprise. He has also presented enterprise wide on the biosphyscosocial considerations of patients with post-concussion syndrome. His goal in practice is to increase the health-literacy surrounding concussion and raise the standard of care in order to reduce the chance of persistent symptoms and psychological effects in athletes and the general population.
