Cait Larkins, PT, DPT, CBIS, cert. DN, is a physical therapist working at the Sheltering Arms Institute in Richmond, VA. A Pennsylvania native, she went to Penn State for undergrad where she received her BS in Biology in 2006 and was a Division 1 athlete on the Track and Cross Country teams. She then graduated from George Washington University in Washington DC in 2014 with her Doctorate in PT. Cait joined the Sheltering Arms Concussion Team in February 2016. She became a Certified Brain Injury Specialist in 2020 and currently co-facilitates the Concussion Support Group. She also co-established and continues to lead the Persistent Pain Ambassador Group, which has been meeting quarterly since January 2021. The goal of this group is to improve clinician knowledge and skillsets for treating patients with persistent pain. Cait enjoys treating a variety of patient diagnoses, including concussion and persistent pain, as it merges her interests in orthopedic and neurological rehab.
