Lina Daus is an Acute Care Physical Therapist at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2019, where she received her doctorate in Physical Therapy. Lina works primarily with orthopedic populations, treating patients both pre-operatively and post-operatively within the hospital setting. In 2020, she joined the NOHARM clinical trial as a "boots on the ground" team member. Lina has previous experience working within a chronic pain and substance-abuse program, where she had firsthand experience with patients undergoing treatment for opioid-use disorder. This previous experience was a catalyst for her desire to participate in research and integration of non-pharmacologic pain management techniques to better support patients' medical treatment plans.
