Kelsey Watters is an occupational therapist (OT) and clinical practice leader for OT at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (SRAlab). She graduated from University of Washington with her master’s in occupational therapy in 2011, obtained her board certification in physical rehabilitation (BCPR) from AOTA in 2020 and her doctorate of clinical science in occupational therapy at the University of Pittsburgh in 2022. Clinically, she specializes in working with individuals recovering from a TBI and other conditions that lead to challenges in functional cognition and vision/perception. She is especially interested in leading initiatives to improve processes that facilitate the implementation of best practice to optimize patient outcomes. Kelsey has led workshops about brain injury, functional cognition and vision at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and holds an adjunct faculty position at the University of Pittsburgh in the Occupational Therapy Program.
