She is currently an Assistant Professor in Occupational Therapy Doctorate Division, which is in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in the School of Medicine at Duke University. She holds a secondary appointment in Ophthalmology at Duke and is a Senior Fellow in the Duke Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development. In addition, Kimberly works at Duke Eye Center, in both the Low Vision Clinic and the Eye Stroke Clinic, as an occupational therapist.
