Pia Stampe, PT, DPT (she/her/hers)

Pia is a pediatric physical therapist with more than 35 years of experience working with children
with neurological disorders such as cerebral palsy and brachial plexus injury. She graduated
from PT education in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1981 and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy
degree from AT Still University in 2008. Pia has completed extensive continuing education and
has teaching experience in pediatrics/neurology, coaching and use of EMG biofeedback,
neuromuscular stimulation, and functional electrical stimulation. Pia was the founder of
KeytoCP and Step by Step Developmental Services in Rochester NY. In 2021 she retired from full
time clinical practice and is now focused on teaching and mentoring about therapeutic
interventions for children and adults with neurological disorders through her company, Pia
Stampe CP Consulting, LLC.
