Erin Wentz, PT, PhD is an assistant professor and pediatric researcher at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She has over 25 years experience in pediatric clinical practice, including board certification in pediatrics. She runs a student-driven Pediatric Practice Clinic that is in it's fourth year where students in all years of the DPT curriculum work with pediatric clients from the community. Serving on the doctoral committee of an occupational therapist pursuing her clinical doctorate with a specialization in vision has underscored the importance of comprehensive consideration of the visual system in pediatric physical therapy evaluation and treatment.
