Dr Mark obtained his MD degree at Albany Medical College, completed his Neurology Residency at New York University, and a Research Fellowship in Behavioral Neurology at the University of Florida. Subsequently Dr Mark led neurorehabilitation programs at the University of Maryland and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where he has been a faculty member with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since 1999. He has been the Medical Director for the Spain Rehabilitation Center Functional Neurological Disorder Clinic since 2017, and now has evaluated more than 400 clients from across the US Southeast. Dr Mark has also been funded as Principal Investigator for several rehabilitation trials in multiple sclerosis.
