Catherine Cooper Hay is an assistant professor in the Occupational Therapy department at Texas Woman's University- Houston campus, and assists with therapy research at TIRR Memorial Hermann. She has over 20 years of experience working in stroke and brain injury rehabilitation and is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS). She completed her PhD in Rehabilitation Science in 2018. Current research interests include stroke and brain injury rehabilitation, the wheelchair procurement process after an acquired brain injury, sex differences in rehabilitation outcomes, and upper extremity recovery after acquired brain injury.
