Dr. Alix Sleight is an occupational therapist and behavioral scientist whose research and clinical practice focus on optimizing health outcomes during cancer survivorship. She is particularly interested in topics surrounding everyday activity, habit change, and self-actualization. Prior to joining Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Sleight was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute. At Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Sleight’s primary clinical focus is leading the RISE program, an occupational therapy-based health self-management clinic for people with chronic conditions. She is currently the PI of a study funded by the American Occupational Therapy Foundation focusing on adherence to health behavior recommendations in cancer survivors.
