Kristen Chao, M.S., CCC-SLP, CBIS; Senior Speech-Language Pathologist. Kristen obtained her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at the Loyola University of Maryland. She is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. Kristen worked at an Outpatient Brain Injury Day Treatment Program at the Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital of York for 7 years prior to her employment at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. She has worked on the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Kennedy Krieger for the past 21 years, evaluating and treating children and adolescents with acquired brain and spinal cord injuries, as well as infants with feeding/swallowing difficulties.
