Keith Lohse, PhD, PStat, is an associate professor with the Program of Physical Therapy and the Department of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis. Dr. Lohse received a PhD in cognitive neuroscience from the University of Colorado where he studied the psychological processes of learning and the statistical tools required to model change over time. He then went on to do post-doctoral research in rehabilitation science at the University of British Columbia and is accredited as a professional statistician (PStat) by the American Statistical Association. Dr. Lohse is a research methodologist with >10 years of experience working in neurology, rehabilitation, and human movement science. His expertise is in multivariate statistics, machine learning, and longitudinal/time-series data. He enjoys problem solving, developing new analytical and data visualization skills, and the challenge of translating complex data to diverse audiences.
