Dr. Hurtado received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2010 and earned her Neurologic Specialty Board Certification in 2014. She has completed advanced courses in vestibular rehabilitation and recently served as faculty for a course on vestibular considerations in neurorehab populations. She has contributed to several publications on post-concussive dizziness and is a co-investigator on the NIH funded Altered Central Multisensory Processing in Post-concussion Vestibular Dysfunction study. She practices with Shepherd Center’s Complex Concussion Clinic where she is passionate about restoring function in adolescent athletes and active adults with persistent post-concussive symptoms.
