Dr. Shih is a physiatrist who specializes in the rehabilitation of individuals with neurologic disorders, including stroke as well as traumatic and acquired brain injuries. Dr. Shih completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Harvard Medical School during which time Dr. Shih served as Chief Resident 2015-2016. Dr. Shih then completed a fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Shih is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and also in Brain Injury Medicine, and is on faculty at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) performing clinical care supplemented by teaching and educational activities and administrative duties. Dr. Shih is also the Medical Director for Inpatient Brain Injury and Co-Director of the Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Shih also performs additional research activities in the area of neurorehabilitation and outcomes research.
