r. Penna is an Associate Professor and the Division Director of Neuropsychology in the Department Rehabilitation Medicine, Emory University, Atlanta , Rehabilitation Medicine, Division of Neuropsychology and Behavioral Health, Emory University, Atlanta. Dr. Penna received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology 2005 from Georgia State University, completed her neuropsychology internship at Yale University and neuropsychology fellowship at UAB's Spain Rehabilitation Center. Her clinical and research interests are in recovery from traumatic brain injury and neuropsychological functioning in medical conditions, notably neuroendocrine disorders and HIV. She has published on assessment of cognitive and emotional functioning with individuals with acquired brain injury and in individuals with medical illness impacting brain functioning. Dr. Penna is heavily involved in neuropsychology training at the local and national level. She is the current President of the Association for Internship Training in Clinical Neuropsychology (AITCN), Treasurer of the Association of Postdoctoral Training in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN), and Co-Treasurer of the Clinical Neuropsychology Council (CNC). Most recently, she has served on the steering committee as treasurer of the Minnesota Conference to Update Training in Neuropsychology.
