Samannaaz Khoja is a research assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA. She received her PT degree from Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai, India, and completed a Doctoral Degree in Health and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Pittsburgh. Her postdoctoral training was focused in the areas of Health Services and Dissemination and Implementation Science. Her specific research interests include leveraging large datasets including electronic medical records to understand the barriers to delivery of evidence-based PT/rehabilitation treatments for chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and understanding how to translate evidence-based innovations into clinical practice using implementation science principles.
