A basic scientist by training, Dr. Jennifer Iddings transitioned to a career in clinical research eight years ago. Applying her expertise in vascular and neural physiology to the field of SCI neurorehabilitation research, she has been a key contributor to multiple projects investigating the use of clinically accessible interventions for spasticity reduction and functional restoration in persons with SCI. As a Research Scientist at the Shepherd Center, Dr. Iddings’ research interests are focused on the use of clinically accessible, non-invasive brain stimulation techniques to enhance neuroplasticity and improve hand function and quality of life for individuals with SCI.
