Phil graduated from the University of Utah with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Phil recently received his Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) in May 2023. Phil began his career working with children who had disabilities. A short two years later, he transitioned to the St George Regional Hospital Neuro Specialty Unit. Over the past six years, Phil has become certified in Neuro-IFRAH, the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS), and Life Care Planning (Medical projection costs). He has spent the last six years working with individuals who have experienced strokes, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries in the inpatient rehabilitation setting (IRF). He has also participated in over 60 litigation cases as an Expert Witness, writing occupational profiles and assessing the individual’s current level of function. He enjoys playing competitive pickleball, running, vacationing, and spending time with his wife and four children.
