Carly Cooper has been an Occupational Therapist for over 13 years, almost all of which has been within the military environment. Being a member of the military rehabilitation community has offered many unique opportunities in a variety of practice areas with one of her specialties being behavioral health. Her research interests include measurement, psychological factors influencing musculoskeletal rehab, and complementary and alternative treatment in brain injury rehab. Carly holds a certification in Stress Management and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. She recently completed her PhD at the University of Kansas in Educational Psychology and Research with an emphasis in Measurement and Statistics. Carly enjoys teaching interactively, so is always happy to facilitate learning courses in environments that foster collaborative interprofessional learning. Currently she serves as the Program Director for the Army-Baylor Post-Professional Doctor of Science in Occupational Therapy Program at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
