Jamie Gibson is a senior specialist rehabilitation physiotherapist and transformation fellow working with Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Health Education England (HEE). He is currently an active ACRM member working within the Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System (RTSS) community. He is the project lead of a HEE awarded clinical fellowship focusing on key workforce transformation relating to rehabilitative treatment development using the RTSS, collaborating with the ACRM RTSS community, London Allied Health Professions Network, King’s College London, and Dr. Gareth Jones of Guy’s & St Thomas’ Trust. He has developed a teaching program that has integrated the RTSS into the clinical practice of physiotherapists working across rehabilitation specialisms. He has published works that apply the RTSS to the fields of musculoskeletal and elective orthopaedic surgeries and has presented his work internationally. His passion is engendering rehabilitation treatment discourse in clinical practice in order to progress the clinical reasoning of pre-registration students and clinicians. Alongside his clinical and fellowship roles, he champions the implementation and evaluation of pedagogical theories and approaches to develop the efficacy of physiotherapy clinical education.
