Dr. Cotner is an anthropologist and qualitative researcher at James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital research and development service and courtesy faculty member in the University of South Florida’s Anthropology Department. Her research has focused on improving employment and quality of life outcomes, documenting access to services and rehabilitation needs of service members and Veterans with disabilities (spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury) and their care partners, engaging stakeholders in the research process, and advancing implementation of evidence-based programs and practices.
