Amit Kumar is an Associate Professor in the College of Health at the University of Utah. He is a health services researcher with training in population health and epidemiology. His teaching and research is guided by the multi-faceted nature of health and focus on how health policy affects the health outcomes of marginalized populations. His current research includes understanding the drivers of inequalities in post-acute rehabilitation care, emphasizing broader domains (Biological, Socioeconomic, and Healthcare Systems) on health outcomes
