Elizabeth Galletta is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She is a speech-language pathologist who evaluates and treats patients with acquired speech-language and cognitive-communication disorders secondary to stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion and neurological disease. She is involved in tDCS research and using tDCS as a part of clincal care through the NYU Langone At-Home Virtual Brain Stimulation Program. She coordinates the Rusk Rehabilitation Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Program (Rusk ICAP) and the Rusk Aphasia Community Groups Program, which follow a Life Participation Approach to Aphasia (LPAA) rehabilitation. She mentors undergraduate and graduate students, and has taught courses on aphasia and cognitive communication disorders at various universities.
