Dr. Lentz is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine-Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology. He is working under the direction of Dr. Perkins on her NIA-funded grant RF1AG069114-01A1 Investigating Informal Caregivers’ Involvement in End-of-Life Care among Assisted Living Residents with Advanced Dementia and its Influence on Resident and Caregiver. His research interests include aging, health, and disability among sexual and gender minority older adults. His broad interests are aging and the life course, the sociology of health, disability, dementia, and caregiving.
