Major (MAJ) Bryan Yu is an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the United States Army. He completed his Doctor of Science in OT from Army-Baylor University in 2023. He started his OT career by attending Washington University in St. Louis and earned a Master of Science in OT in 2008. His early OT career was focused on neuro-rehabilitation, serving populations with stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). He held Certified Brain Injury Specialist credentials from 2012 to 2014. Since his Army Commission in 2018, he has focused his practice and research on military human performance optimization, upper extremity injury prevention and rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury and healthcare administration. He earned Certified Hand Therapy (CHT) credentials in 2020. MAJ Yu currently is the OT Department Director and Army-OT Doctorate Clinical Fieldwork Director at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington, U.S.A.
