I am a driven and accomplished individual with a diverse academic background in Neuroscience and Psychology, having earned both a BS in Neuroscience and a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware's College of Arts and Sciences. My academic journey was marked by recognition on the Dean’s List and membership in the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll, attesting to my commitment to excellence. As a post-baccalaureate intern in the Rehabilitation Robotics Lab at the University of Pennsylvania, I've actively engaged in groundbreaking research, contributing to studies on HIV-related motor and cognitive impairment, upper extremity rehabilitation using robotics, and cognitive and motor impairment in adults with Sickle Cell Disease. Additionally, my role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Cognitive Neuropsychology Lab at the University of Delaware allowed me to investigate mirror-touch synesthesia, exploring how visual information influences tactile processing. Beyond academia, my passion for mentoring and advocacy is evident through my involvement in various peer mentorship programs, mental health advocacy groups, and community service initiatives. My skillset encompasses a range of cognitive and motor assessments, robot assessments, and proficiency in software tools like Microsoft Office and Google Suite. I am poised to contribute my multidisciplinary expertise and unwavering dedication to advancing scientific understanding and fostering positive change.
