My research interests include frailty rehabilitation outcomes in geriatrics. To be specific, I worked on the association between osteoarthritis and diabetes in terms of prevalence, association, progression, and symptoms such as pain and functions. I conduct research on measuring the prevalence and associated risk factors with chronic conditions and physical functions such as gait speed, balance, and mobility measures. My work has different geographical areas including the United States and Saudi Arabia. At the level of chronic conditions and associated factors, my work included risk of fall and the clinical utility of predictors of fall. My current and previous work included measuring physical activity level and its associated factors among adults and older adults.
