Deena Schwen Blackett, PhD, CCC-SLP is a T32 postdoctoral fellow at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology in 2016 and her PhD in Speech and Hearing Science in 2021 from Ohio State University. Her research interests include examining the role of emotion in language in healthy aging adults and people with aphasia and identifying methods for improving mental health care access for people with aphasia.
