My name is Andre Phillips, and I am a second-year PSYD student at Carlos Albizu University in Doral, Florida. I also hold the positions of founder and president within the philosophy club. Currently, I am interested in general clinical psychology and am passionate about depth-based psychotherapy approaches and their promise in treating and understanding complex psychological disorders. My main research interests revolve around evaluating the effectiveness of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, psychodynamic approaches, optimal session durations for psychotherapy, and existential therapies concerning persistent or life-altering conditions. Additionally, I hold a keen interest in producing conceptual papers that explore the potential psychological mechanisms that underlie social phenomena and behaviors observed on social media platforms
