I am Yu-Ru Jin, a certified occupational therapist in Taiwan, and a current doctoral student at the Health Science Institute of National Cheng Kung University.
As an occupational therapist, I embody an enthusiastic approach to both life and my profession, continuously exploring a range of possibilities. Throughout my journey towards becoming an occupational therapist, I have embraced various avenues of learning and have assumed roles serving diverse client groups within different contexts. Concurrently, as a doctoral student, I have maintained a strong grasp of the foundational expertise in occupational therapy, while actively seeking to amass professional knowledge. This entails the integration of personal experiences and perspectives to critically analyze, absorb, synthesize, and independently evaluate contemporary knowledge. This capacity equips me to effectively apply evidence-based knowledge and methods within clinical services, while also contributing to the advancement of the field of occupational therapy academia.
